Every year, SVIST sets specific cut-off marks for admission to its various B.Tech specializations. These cutoffs are determined based on the performance of candidates in the entrance examination, such as the JEE Mains or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, and the availability of seats.
For the academic year 2022-23, SVIST had released the first cutoff for admission to B.Tech programs. The cutoff for general category students was 94.23 percentile, for OBC category was 87.91 percentile, for SC category was 65.12 percentile and for ST category was 54.11 percentile. The cutoff is based on the scores of JEE Main 2022 .
