<p>The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for admission into the MBA programme at the Nehru Institute of Management Studies (NIMS).</p><p>Educational Qualifications: The applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised institution. This degree should have been 'earned' after completing schooling of 10+2 years.<br>Entrance Exam: NIMS MBA program, for most of the candidates, requires the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) to be taken. In the admission process, you will be classified into different categories depending on your TANCET score.<br>Minimum Score: Whereas the institution does not declare any official cutoff marks, the admission is still based on attainment in TANCET examination and academic credentials.</p><p>In case some students do not wish to sit for the TANCET exam, there may be options for direct entry for such students depending on other criteria.</p>
