B.tech in Dairy Technology is a 4-year undergraduate course that deals with the study of all the aspects of the processing and manufacture of dairy products. Bachelors of Technology in Dairy Technology Engineering (B.Tech in Dairy Technology) also focuses on new methods that are discovered to manufacture different milk by-products such as cheese, ice cream, etc., using scientific technology and engineering machinery and tools.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having an aggregate of 50 percent in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board can apply for B Tech in dairy technology engineering.
The minimum age limit to apply for this BTech course is 17 years at the time of registration.
Future Scope: A dairy technologist is to manage milk production, storage of milk, transportation and packing of dairy products, animal husbandry, cattle rearing, chemistry, nutrition science, marketing, management, dairy unit operations, etc.
