    As per last year's trend it can be said that the rank should be 5000-10000 to secure a good place in IITs for the General category. And again for OBCs, and ST/SC there will be lower ranks criteria to be in IITs.

    The lowest Joint Entrance Examination Advanced rank which gets an Indian Institutes of Technology seat varies every year depending on the number of seats available and the number of candidates who have applied. It also depends on the category of the students like General, Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, EWS, and PwD. However, In JEE Advanced 2022, the lowest rank to get a seat was around 15000 for the Open category. Students from reserved categories or PwD candidates can secure a seat with a lower rank.     JEE Mains score of 85-95percentaile is ideal for getting into NITs &IITs through the exam &the 15,000-20,000 rank to be accepted into the best NITs & IITs. JEE required to get into IIT is 75 marks for OBC category students &85to 90 marks for general category.

    If you belong to general category you need a 5000 rank to get into a decent IIT which gives you with a marks of 200.
