Hi Anchal,
Though I am not an expert but based on what I have seen I am trying to attempt the same.
Number one is stone used, Delhi sultanate used the local stones, the Mughals were partial to Red Sandstone, hence the Mughal forts, and buildings look more beautiful ( Humanyun's tomb, Red Fort both
