    An AICTE approved B-school which has signed an Mou with the All India Universities (AIU) is equivalent to MBA degree. The point is that only Universities can give Degrees and Autonomous colleges can only give Diploma. It is to be noted that you get PGDM in the IIM's as well. Thank you. I hope this helps
