    For IT officer, you need a very good rank. Target minimum 160 in tier 1 exam. And 340+ in tier 2. Total should be above 500 after tier 2 for good chances of selection in General category.

    Your preparation strategy should be like this:
    1. First of all join a good institute.
    2. Bring regularity in you for study.
    3. Study for atleast 5 to 6 hours.
    4. Take up a topic, clear it first then take up other one.
    5. Learn tricks of maths and reasoning questions for quick solutions
    6. Try to give as much MOCK tests as you can
    7. Make some short notes which you can revise at the last moment.
