1)
To be eligible for UPSC exam :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You may even appear for the civil services exam if you are in final year.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respective

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) of India conducts the exam and on the basis of the result IAS, IPS, IFS officers are selected.

For civil services examinations like IPS, IAS, IRS, IFS minimum qualification is graduation in any stream. Hence, you can not apply for IPS exam. To pursue B.Tech./B.E. in any branch , you may seek admission in 2nd year directly through lateral entry scheme in any government or private engineering c
