For the GATE papers with codes AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ES, IN, ME, MN, MT, PE, PI, TF, and XE, the GATE marking scheme is as follows -

  • 15% is reserved for the General Aptitude Questions
  • 13% marks is distributed to Engineering Mathematics
  • and remaining 72% to the subject paper.
