BITS Pilani will release the marking scheme along with the BITSAT 2026 exam pattern. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks. However, if the candidate marks the wrong answer, then 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted

The BITSAT marking scheme is as follows

For every correct answer: +3 marks

For every incorrect answer: -1 mark

Each question on the BITSAT exam will have four possible answers, and only one of those answers will be the right one. At any time, candidates are free to modify their responses to a question.
