The candidates will receive four marks from the authorities for each correct response. But for each wrong response, you will lose one mark. The HPCET questions carry negative markings, so applicants are urged to proceed cautiously.

  • The marking scheme of HPCET is released online. Candidates are advised to check the marking scheme carefully to understand how their responses will be marked. For every correct answer, the authorities will award four marks to the candidates. However, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to be careful while attempting the questions of HPCET.
