- Marks per correct answer: 1 mark
- Negative marking: Yes, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Marks for unattempted questions: No marks are awarded or deducted for questions you leave blank.

As per the marking scheme of JKCET, 1 marks is awarded for each correct answer and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted. Each 3 section of the question paper has 60 questions and has mamximum 60 marks. The, maximum marks in total is thus 180.
