What is the marking scheme of WBJEE 2023?

The official marking scheme of WBJEE 2023 has been released online. Candidates can now access the marking scheme to check how their responses will be marked by the authorities. For Category I questions, each correct answer will be awarded one mark. An incorrect response will yield a loss of 1/4 mark. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 marks. For Category II questions, only one option is correct, the correct response yield two marks. An incorrect response will yield -1/2 marks. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 mark. Finally for Category III questions, one or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will yield 2 (two) marks. There is no negative marking.
