What is the marking scheme of WBJEE?

<p>The official marking scheme is released through the WBJEE exam pattern. Candidates are advised to check the marking scheme to understand how their correct and incorrect answers will be marked by the authorities.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Category I Questions - Each correct answer will be given one mark. An incorrect response will result in a loss of 1/4 mark. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will result in a loss of 1/4 marks.</li><li>Category II Questions - For every correct response, two marks will be given. An incorrect response will result in a loss of 1/2 marks. For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 mark.</li><li>Category III Questions - Each correct response will be given two marks. There will be no negative marking.</li></ul>
