As per the IISER Pune cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closing rank for most of the BS-MS specialisations stod at 355 for the General AI category students. So, candidates seeking admission must target securing a cutoff rank up to 355 or lower to improve their chances of getting admission at IISER Pune.

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune has released the cutoffmarks for the BS-MS (Dual Degree) course for the academic year 2025-26. The cut off marks for the IISER Pune BS-MS course are category-wise and are based on the marks obtained in the KVPY, SCB, and JEE (Advanced) examinations.

The qualification for the BS-MS programme at IISER Pune mandates students to pass Class 12 or an equivalent with a Science stream from a board. Students must also pass in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). The erstwhile avenues such as KVPY and JEE-Advanced are not taken into account anymore. This helps ensure that students are equipped with the necessary academics to pursue the integrated dual degree programme.
