    MAT score is considered for PGDM course and PGDM course gives 20% weightage only to your written exam scores rest depends on your work experience and Gdpi performance.

    Each institute will have its own cut off. Moreover, the cut offs for each institute, will keep on changing each year. There are very few reputed B Schools, which accept MAT scores. They prefer students who have done well in CAT. Being a CAT \ MAT \ CMAT trainer over the last 15 years, my suggestion would be to look at scoring a minimum of 97 percentile in the CAT exam, to have a realistic chance of making it to these B Schools. However, CAT is held only once a year, so your preparation has to be meticulous. The MAT exam is held four times a year, as in, February, May, September and December.
