    There is no age limit for LLB examination this academic year, as the Supreme Court has stayed Bar Council of India's (BCI) notification fixing age limit for law courses.

    Hi,
    LLB Eligibility. Aspiring candidates should have scored a minimum pass percentage either at the class 12th level or graduation level. The percentages are 45% marks for General category, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST categories.

Yes, the Faculty of Law offers the self-financed LLM specialisations, such as Personal Law, Corporate Law, and Criminal Law. In its LLM programme, each specialisation will have 10 seats, both in the regular and self-financing categories. More precisely, self-financed LLM courses offer an alternative to the students who may not get admission into the seats available in the regular mode. Whereas the self-financing courses have different fee structures, the regular programmes are allowed more latitude in enrollment options to prospectively seek law studies at Faculty of Law, JMI.

Cut-off is the minimum mark that needs to be attained to take admission to the programme offered at the Faculty of Law for LLM in Personal Law via the entrance conducted by JMI. However, the self-financed LLM programmme had markedly lower cut-offs in 2024. Thus, it highlights how competitive the regular programmme are.
