Dear Amit , Animation and vfx are not same , though in animation pipeline vfx is also a part of it. Meaning of Vfx is visual effects .

Animation and VFX may not be directly related but both are needed for creating a feature film effects.

No,Vfx is a sort of editing whereas animation is digital representation of characters
