What is the meaning of quota for B.Tech admission in a government college?

Hello Sandeep,
As per the directive by the state / central government or as per the decision of the college management, a percentage of the total number of seats in the college are reserved only for those students satisfying a given criteria, for example, students who belong to scheduled caste (SC)
