After seven rounds of JOSAA counselling, if the majority or considerably large number of seats remain vacant in some colleges, then these colleges combinely Under Central Seat Allocation Board conduct a special round as a special opportunity to students who want to apply again. Note, it's not necessary that all colleges participate in it.
    Best of luck.

    Hello,
Hope you are doing well. A special round is being conducted by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) to fill the vacant seats at NITs, IIEST, IIITs and other GFTIs (except IITs). Earlier, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) filled the seats through seven rounds of counselling.
    Hope you have understood this.
    All the best.
