<p>Average package for 2016&ndash;18 batch was 7lpa and max was 11.25lpa</p><p>Depending on your choice of sector it varies, if you opt for micro-finance and banking sector you have the upper edge in placementsIf you opt for NGOs and development sector its is close to 6lpa initially but after an experience of say 2 years the growth rate is very high.</p><p>As a student of IISWBM, we should not disclose certain things to outside people. As I am giving out the details that's why I&rsquo;m making myself anonymous.Let me give you a detail scenario:The Syllabus was not at all industry focused. Bookish Knowledge imparted to students.IMRB Kantar, ICICI Bank are the main recruiters. (Finance People= ICICI), Marketing= IMRB KANTAR</p><p>PS: Those who get into ICICI Bank leave their jobs within 6 months, hope you will understand.Some used to claim that the faculty members are knowledgeable and all, YES they are knowledgeable but they aren't fit for MBA.</p><p>Reason: They have bookish knowledge, they don&rsquo;t provide industry knowledge.Placement: CTC is not the in hand salary (CTC/15) Roughly in hand</p><p>Fresher Average: 5 to 5.5 LPA</p><p>the lowest: 3.75 (Tata Capital)</p><p>the highest: 12L (Amazon) If you have 2 years of Work Experience then only you can seat for the drive of Amazon. (HR Role)PSU like UBI, BOI gives unpaid Internships IMRB KANTAR 10,000/ month.Kolkata region has very few corporate houses, that's why very few companies come for placements.Important Note: MBA aspirants who are planning for Finance &amp; HR specialisation PLEASE AVOID IISWBM.</p><p>HR: XISS, Ranchi.Finance: MDI Murshidabad.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
