<p>Mode of learning for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) may differ from one university to another. In general it can be said that English is the medium through which most of the teaching and learning as well as examinations in many colleges take place. However, some institutions may employ Sanskrit for some of the subjects especially which has direct connection with early Ayurveda glossary and texts.</p><p>Sanskrit is important in the Ayurveda as most of the literature works are in this particular language. In exams, English is mainly employed as a language used to write answers to the questions asked while some universities may include oriental components especially in the specialised areas. Course medium is one of the factors to be considered, along with the examination process you are going to undergo during the teaching process.</p><p>Media of Study:</p><p>Mostly, most of the colleges offer a BAMS course in the English language, especially with regard to textbooks used, delivered lectures, and many other instructional materials that are offered to the students.<br>Sanskrit: &nbsp;Although the medium of teaching in almost all educational institutes is English, students have to learn and study the entire text and terminology in Sanskrit. &nbsp;The fact is attributed to the very core of learning Ayurveda since Sanskrit creates an imminent relationship with practice and understanding.<br>Medium of the language employed in the examinations:</p><p>This is more of a common practice. The exams are usually conducted in the English language. However, there are parts of the particular terms and the texts that might be found in the Sanskrit language, hence clearly indicating and identifying the traditional feel and the touch that accompanies Ayurveda.</p>
