The inter-se merit list is prepared by the exam conducting authority when two or more candidates secure the same marks or exact merit position.

If a situation were to come then the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) would prepare the inter-se merit list for Karnataka PGCET based on the Total or aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam which in this case is the graduation degree.

If the marks are still equal then the age is taken into consideration and the preference is given to the older candidate over the younger one.

    Thank you.

Inter-se-merit is prepared based on the scores of the candidates in the Karnataka PGCET exam. When two or more candidates secure the same merit position, inter-se-merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam, that is the graduation degree. If the marks still continue to be equal, then in such a case, inter-se-merit is created based on the age of the candidates. Here, the older candidates are given preference over the younger ones.

There is no minimum criteria to pass Karnataka PGCET exam. Higher score will lead to increase in chances of converting college during the centralised counselling process.
