    There is no described minimum age for the examination, however, it is advised for the candidates to appear for this examination when they are at least the age of 16 or above. 

    Yes, you can appear for the IELTS examination after class 10th, infact a lot of students appear for IELTS after class 10th .

    The Validity of the examination results is between 2 to 3 years (3 for the skill required migrants ) . 

    The examination tests the candidates for their proficiency in English language. 

    It covers four sections - Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

    The minimum age for taking the IELTS exam is 16 years. Anyone over the age of 16 can take the IELTS Test irrespective of nationality or background. IDP - the conducting body of the IELTS exam has not officially declared a minimum age limit to take the IELTS exam, but it is preferred that the aspirant should have crossed 16 years of age. IELTS - an English language proficiency exam is a requirement for candidates looking to pursue higher education abroad. And since, IELTS scores are valid for a period of 2 years, candidates who take the IELTS exam in Class 10 would have to appear again after completing their Class 12 if they plan on stu

    Hi,
    You can give IELTS in class 10th but it won't be of much use because it is valid for 2 years only, so you should appear for it after 12th.
