The CGPA score may vary from company to company, but you got to have a decent score. Some organizations require you to have a CGPA as high as 8, which is not the case with Amazon, Cognizant, and TCS. They are pretty flexible when it comes to CGPA. For them, a score of 5 or 6 is acceptable. I, nevertheless, suggest you maintain a CGPA of 6 or 7. This will rule out the possibility of not getting hired with keeping score as a reference.

In LPU, for most courses, CGPA is not the criteria to get you a minor. Companies hire students on the basis of their knowledge of the subject, practical skills, and ability to sustain in the corporate world. In the School of Computer Science and Engineering, however, things are a little opposite. Companies that hire students from CSE expect students to maintain a level of CGPA.
