    To become a commercial pilot:
    1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
    2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
    3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
    4. You need to register at a flying club which is recognised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India.

    You will end up spending approximately Rs. 20 lakhs - 30 lakhs as of now to complete CPL. The price goes higher if you want to go for IGRUA or NFTI or any sophisticated international flying clubs.
    And, if you want to include type rating then that's approximately Rs. 15 lakhs all total.

    CPL is a very expensive course among all. The minimum cost will be around 50 lakhs to maximum 1 crore INR.

    It depends on the institute. The maximum fees is 35-40 LPA.

    Cost of commercial pilot training in India is quite high. Actually its high throughout the world. There are total of 3 stages after which you will get commerical pilot licence. The entire three stages are going to cost you somwhere between Rs 15 to 20 Lakh.
    However despite the high cost, thousands apply for the commerical pilot training. The reason being that you can easily make up for what you spent on education after getting the job. Commerical pilots are very well paid even in India. This despite the fact that Indian airlines are struggling financially.
