Admission to the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Mohali is based on an entrance exam. When selecting candidates for the BS-MS dual degree programmes, the institute administers the IISER Aptitude Test. At the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, respectively, IISER Mohali offers three courses, including BS-MS, Integrated PhD, and PhD across six departments, namely Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
