Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Computer Science as subjects. They must have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST candidates) in these subjects.

Candidates, to be eligible for the IIIT Kota BTech programme, should complete Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75 per cent aggregate. Students are selected based on JEE Main and JoSAA/CSAB Counselling.
