Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Computer Science as subjects. They must have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST candidates) in these subjects.

Candidates, to be eligible for Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota BTech programme, must have to furnish the minimum eligibility criteria required for JEE Main exam. For the same, thsy should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75 per cent aggregate. Additionally, those who are under the top 20 percentile of their board are also eligible to apply.
