There is no minimum JEE main rankor percentile required to get admission into B.E. Computer Science Engineering at Chandigarh University.JEE scores are mainly used for scholarship eligibility, not as a strict admission cutoff. Students with higher All India Ranks can qualify for fee waivers under CU's JEE-based scholarship scheme, while others can gain admission through CUCET. This ensures flexibility and equal opportunity for all aspirants. Even students with low JEE ranks or average percentiles can secure CSE seats if they meet eligibility criteria and perform well in CUCET. Chandigarh University's admission model focuses on potentia

There is no fixed “minimum JEE Main percentile/rank” that guarantees admission to Chandigarh University (CU)'s B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), because admission depends on seat demand, number of applicants, branch popularity, and round of counselling. But we can estimate a rough “safe-ish range” based on recent years' closing ranks at CU.

What data says about recent cutoffs for CSE at CU

For 2024 admissions, the closing JEE‑Main rank (General, All‑India quota) for CSE at CU was ~ 80,940.

    For 2023 it was ~ 63,416 and for 2022 ~ 47,509.

Cutoffs shift each year — depending on how many apply, how
