What is the minimum marks required in class 12th to clear JEE-Main and JEE-Advance?

    The minimum criteria is 50% and you should have good score in JEE.

    You have not mentioned which board so my answer is for CBSE board. For JEE Mains, from last year onwards, marks are not rank deciding factor. Thus if you have 60% then you are eligible for admission in NIT and IIIT. But for Advanced, you have to score a minimum of 75%.

    Yes, for pursuing engineering you should have a minimum of 60% marks as aggregate in your board exams. It is the criteria that will allow you to sit for the examination.

    For JEE Mains, you should have 60% marks in 12th class. For Appearing JEE advance after clearing Mains, you should have 75% marks in 12th class otherwise you would not be eligible for JEE advance. And on the basis of JEE Mains score, You can get NITs, IIITs and other top colleges according to counselling. Only after cracking JEE advance you will get IITs. So, atleast, you need to score 75% marks in class 12th. Thanks

    Hello,
    You need atleast 50 % marks in Board Exam with PCM subjects if you want to clear the JEE Main Exam 2018
    The number of attempts you will get for JEE Main is 3. Lat year the JEE Main Cutoff was as following
    General -81 Marks
    OBC -49 Marks
    SC-32 Marks
    ST-27 Marks

    The minimum eligibility for general category is more than 50% PCM IN 12th.
