The centralised counselling process is managed and regulated by Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA based on which the seat allotment is carried out. The seat allotment is based on the cutoff released by NIT Rourkela and a candidate's preference for courses and colleges. Further, the remaining vacant seats are filled through CSAB counselling.</p>
