What is the minimum percentage required in 12th CBSE for admission to B.Tech Computer Science?

<p>There is no such criteria for getting admission in B tech Computer Science branch but many college wants above 65% for giving admission in college it may vary college to college. However, at the time of placement minimum percentage in 12th should be 60% .&nbsp;</p>

Eligibility criteria for admission in BTech Computer Science:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>One must have passed class 12th in Science stream from a recognised board.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>12th should have subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>One must pass an entrance exam like JEE Main or JEE Advanced.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For admission in prestigious institutes like IITs and NITs, one must have at least 75% marks in class 12th. For SC/ST and differently abled students, this limit is 65%.</p>

<p>Most of the universities in India consider <strong>60% to 75%&nbsp;</strong>as minmum percentage in 12th class to take admission in any branch&nbsp;</p><p>Colleges that allow admission through any entrance exam then you get branch depend on your entrance score not through your 12th class score but they have minimum requirements of <strong>60%</strong> <strong>from</strong> <strong>75%</strong> &nbsp;</p><p>Colleges that allow admission through merit list on the basis of 12 th class score then for reputated universities the cut off for branch like <strong>computer</strong>&nbsp;<strong>science&nbsp;</strong>can go higher so it is best to score above <strong>75%</strong></p><p>&nbsp;If you are taking admission through management quata in not such reputated college then minimum score needed in your 12th class is varies from <strong>50% to 70%&nbsp;</strong>Is enough&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
