It depends on your caliber and how much efforts you are ready to put. Generally, around 8-10 Months is ideal time recommended for good score and ample mock exam opportunities. -

It really depends on one's ability to grasp the things and concepts. Some people can cover the whole CAT course in 3 months and some may take 9-12 months.
