    You have to be graduated from school with decent marks and scored a good rank in JEE for admission to UG course. For M.Tech M.Sc, you will have to take GATE/JAM. If you have a Master's degree with good knowledge and grades, you can apply for ph.D.

    IIT JAM Requirments:
    For the General Category 55% marks in the bachelor degree
    For SC/ST/PWD 50% marks in Bachelor degree
    And Qualified for the JAM Exam with the prescribed cut-off.

    If you are talking about B.Tech course you need to qualify IIT JEE test with a good rank approximately below 5000 AIR if you are of general category.
