For both descriptive and objective-type questions on the JMI Entrance Exam, the minimal qualifying marks are 15% and 30%, respectively. In order to get admitted to Jamia Millia Islamia, applicants must receive a grade of at least 200 in disciplines like economics. However, the projected cutoff ranges for BA (Hons) Sociology and Psychology are 60–74 and BA (Hons) English is 48–69. The result will be 9 marks if it is 30%. If it's 40%, you need to receive at least 12 points in order to pass the test. You should score 15 or higher if you receive a 50% or higher score. Like all other exams, the minimum marks have been set for the candidates to qualify in the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam. As per the general guidelines released by the university, candidates obtaining less than 15% marks in the Objective Type/ Multiple Choice questions will not be shortlisted for interview/admission. Similarly, candidates obtaining less than 30% marks in the descriptive part of the Entrance Test, wherever applicable, will not be shortlisted for interview/ admission.
