Generally for most of the university the criterion is you should have minimum of 65% marks in overall and in mathematics and in PCM is required to take admission in B.Tech degree course. For reserved candidates the percentage varies from 50% to 65% according to the university. 60% marks is the base, considered by all the good institutes. After B.Tech, you need to clear GATE for getting into IITs and NITs for M.Tech and also for PSU jobs.
