    The CSIR NET exam is conducted in an online computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in two sessions, I. e. , morning and afternoon sessions. The duration of each session is 3 hours. The CSIR NET exam is conducted in five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The exam is conducted in English and consists of three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C.
