    The NEET PG cutoff for admission to the MD Psychiatry programme at the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi, varies by year and category. For the year 2024, the expected cutoff ranks are as follows: 

    - General Category: Around rank 7500  

    - OBC: Around rank 13680  

    - EWS: Around rank 11970  

    - SC: Around rank 22490  

    - ST: Around rank 37090  

    - General-PH: Around rank 93450.

    Hi, The NEET PG cutoff for MD Psychiatry at the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi, for 2023 varied across categories:

    • General (AIQ): Closing rank at 7,501 in Round 1.
    • OBC (AIQ): Closing rank at 13,679 in Round 1.
    • SC (AIQ): Closing rank at 26,779 in Round 1.
    • ST (AIQ): Closing rank at 37,090 in Round 1.

    According to the data available on internet, the NEET PG cutoff for Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) is as follows:
    for General Category the last closing rank is 5598, for OBC the last closing rank is 15485, for Sc the last closing rank is 23840 and for ST this rank is around 38536 . For Pwd candidates the generalised rank is 87959. All the above mentioned data is for Round 1 for MD in Psychiatry.

Yes. Candidates will have to declare preferences of choices for each round of NEET PG counselling after registration. It must be noted registration and choices can be declared online. At the same time, choices must be locked in the given deadline otherwise it gets locked automatically. Based on declared choices, seat availablity, NEET PG rank, seats will be allotted.

Yes. If you will be allotted seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, your round-1 allotted seat will be automatically get cancelled. In case you don't get allotted seat in round-2, then round-1 seat will not be cancelled. Candidates have to register online and declare preferences of choice for NEET PG counselling. It must be noted, MCC conducts counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats.

The merit list for Tripura NEET PG 2025 will be released online tentatively by the second week of October 2025. DMER Tripura will release separate merit lists for each round. Candidates have to download the merit list from the official website or from Shiksha.com. They will have to enter login details in registration page to download scorecards for NEET PG 2025.
