What is the NEST Scoring system?

<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">The NEST Scoring system is based on the following points:</p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">1. In the NEST 2024 examination, there are four sections of 60 marks each.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">2. The NEST 2024 entrance examination will be conducted in two sessions, and different sets of question papers will be used for each session. The percentile score will be calculated based on the relative performance of all the qualified candidates in the respective session. The highest score in each session will be the 100th percentile.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">3. During the preparation of the merit list, the three best scores from the four sections will be considered. In other words, the worst score among the four sections would not be considered for the merit list calculation.</p><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;">4. As merit list calculation will be performed on marks obtained in the best three sections, the &lsquo;total&rsquo; marks for NEST 2024 become 180.</p>
