    The 2023 modification to the GRE design reduced the test's time from three hours and forty-five minutes to around one hour and fifty-eight minutes. Less testing time for each section and fewer questions are two significant adjustments. There is now only one essay in the Analytical Writing component, with a 30-minute time limit, as opposed to two. Additionally, the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning parts have been condensed, with fewer questions and shorter completion times. The unscored portion has also been eliminated.     According to updated GRE Exam Pattern announced by ETS, here are the important points that you need to note.

    1. GRE Exam test duration is less than 2 hours (1 hour and 58 minutes). Earlier, it was 3 hours and 45 minutes.
    2. There are five sections in the exam to assess Analytical Writing, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. Earlier, there were 6 sections.
