    In 2025, Chandigarh University's school of architecture ranked 13th in NIRF rankings among the top architecture colleges in India. It's a remarkable thing to note that a private university has been ranked this high on a government-approved national list. 

    Rankings to me are not the big thing, it is what they represent behind them- like best labs, state of the art facilities, placements, and exposure to the real world. CU has in fact put in effort in these. 

    Speaking of placements, the department witnessed a the highest package of Rs. 10 LPA, with 159 students getting placed through 27 good companies. Infrastructure is solid as

    Recently, I read that the Government of India releases the NIRF rankings every year (National Institutional Rankings Framework) for course-specific institutes in India.     Chandigarh University has been ranked under multiple streams such as Management, Engineering, Commerce, Architecture, and Computer Applications. Chandigarh University is ranked 13 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2024 under the Architecture category. For the categories such as University and Engineering, the university has been ranked 20 and 32, respectively.

    Over the past few years, Chandigarh University has been ranked under multiple streams including Management, Engineering, Commerce, Architecture, and Computer Applications. Chandigarh University is ranked 19 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2022 for Architecture. Hence, it is one of the best universities for Architecture.
