    NIT Agartala is one of the top technical institutions which is govt. funded. Candidates interested to take admission into this premier academy need to take the Joint entrance examination (JEE) Mains and advanced levels. JEE is a national level entrance designed especially for students' entry into IITs and NITs. After a candidate gets through with the JEE exams, he/she is required to enroll into the couselling process of Joint seat allocation authority (JoSAA).     The NIT Agartala admission process for both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs is as follows:

    Undergraduate

    • Apply for JEE Main. JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in India.
    • Participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process. JoSAA is a centralized counseling process for admission to NITs,  IIITs,  and other government-funded technical institutes.
    • Choose NIT Agartala as your preferred institute.
    • Accept your seat at NIT Agartala and pay the required fees.
    • Complete the admission process at NIT Agartala.
