Designers mostly work for self in their own boutiques and prices of their items are very high, as it is created by their hard work. Earnings of them depends upon their creativity and selling and communication skills with customers and if you have good public relations, then you can earn very good.

Hii, In India the market value of stylist is little low. definitely it's better in European countries. On an average one can get a starting package of 3 lacks per annum in India only if you studied from a reputed college. It also depends on the person's capabilities, that how good he/ she is at their work.

You can't tell for sure, but a reputed stylist will get 20k for one assignment with a big brand/magazine.

Packages and salary can never be predicted or set. Also, in India, stylist don't really work under a company. They work independently.
