It is conducted twice a year, in October and February. 5. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their 12th grade score for the Oberoi STEP interview process. The application process for the 2023 cycle was completed in February.

Hi DEEPIKA, Oberoi STEP was launched in 2004 and is an initiative to help students get admission into a 3 year programme for practical training at a hotel of The Oberoi Group. Getting admission through the same implies that one is able to get training in the core functions of hotel management like Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Kitchen. The programs offered by Oberoi STEP are: The Kitchen Operations Programme involves training in Western and Indian kitchens and specialist sections such as bakery, pastry and cold kitchen.
