To pass the BSEB Matric exam, students must score a minimum of 30% marks in each subject. On the other hand, the students should also score a minimum of 30% aggregate marks to pass the exam. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they will be marked as fail. However, such students will be allowed to appear for the BSEB 10th compartmental exams which is held in Apr/May every year. Students who are short in any subject with just one or two marks will be given grace marks and will pass the exam.
