    Passing score for CAT .A Student of Competency Level shall be declared to have passed the CAT (Common Admission Test) Examination if he secures a minimum of 40 percent marks in each section and an aggregate of 50 percent of total marks. The CAT exam is a computer-based test. More than 1,300 Master of Business Administration Colleges in India accepts the Common Admission Test score. I hope this will help you.

    For IIMs, nothing less than 97-98 percentile is good but for other top MBA colleges, 90-95 percentile is good. A majority of CAT test takers fall in the category of 80-90 percentile and 100s of B-schools accept candidates having CAT scores in this range.
