What is the pattern of MAHA TET exam?

Candidates can download the MAHA TET admit card using the process shared below-

1. Visit mahatet.in.
2. Click on the Admit Card link.
3. Enter the mobile and application numbers.
4. Download the MAHA TET admit card.
5. Take its printout.

Candidates can appear for both MAHA TET Paper 1 and Paper 2. Those who give both papers obtain eligibility to apply for teaching jobs for Classes 1 to 8 in Maharashtra schools. However, such candidates need to fulfill the eligibility for the papers.

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune conducts the MAHA TET exam every year to certify candidates as teachers. The TET exam has two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The MAHA TET Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5 teachers and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8 teachers.

Candidates who are Graduate with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and D.El.Ed / B.Ed / equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for Maha TET Paper 2. Candidates need to fulfill the prescribed MAHA TET eligibility criteria to appear for the Maharashtra TET exam.

Candidates who are Class 12 pass with a minimum of 50 per cent marks can apply for MAHA TET Paper 1. Candidates also need to have any Diploma or degree in teacher education programme.
