The pattern of the questions asked in CUET for LL. M. may vary from year to year. However, in general, the CUET for LL. M. consists of a single paper with multiple choice questions (MCQs) and short answer questions. The exam is usually conducted in online mode. The LL. M. entrance exam at Calcutta University (CU) covers the following topics:
1. Constitutional Law
2. Jurisprudence
3. Criminal Law
4. Corporate Law
5. International Law
6. Intellectual Property Law
7. Environmental Law
8. Human Rights Law
