What is the percentage of CA students pursuing a CFA simultaneously? What are the study strategies to clear these exams?

    Hi,
    CA and CFA simultaneously, I would say it's rare or let's say, 1 out of 1000 student goes for this combination as both the courses need specific dedicated study time schedule hence it's very difficult to manage both these at the same time. Hence I would suggest going for CFA once your CA is done.

    It is really difficult to choose between CA and CFA as it is and really important decision which you need to make as your career or a whole life depends on it so let's see the difference between CA and CFA.
    CFA focusses on Investment Management and covers topics in Finance like Corporate Finance, Ethics, Equity Investments, Derivatives, Fixed Income while preparing you for careers in Investment Banking, Research and Portfolio Management. Whereas CA focusses on Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing and prepares you for careers in budgeting, accounting & auditing and management accounting.

    Strategies you can follow –
    Start Early
    The CFA Institute estimates that at least 250 hours of independent study is necessary to pass each exam. Candidates spend the most time reviewing the CFA Program curriculum, mock exam and utilizing independent exam prep materials.
    Preview the material before starting:
    After registering for each level, you will receive a curriculum that is divided into sessions. Broadly preview each session to determine your familiarity with each topic.
    Keep minimum 4 weeks bracket –
