    For Chemical engineering you can also go with Chandigarh university NAAC-A+ University known for good placements and academics.     I can give you the statistic of the year 2018.
    1. For Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, you need to score minimum 60% marks in PCM in 12th standard. +74 marks in JEE Main or 80% marks in PCM + 45 Marks in JEE Main.
    2. For Dr. S. Bhavnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (Dr. SSBUICET), Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh you needs to score minimum 60% aggregate marks at 12th standard+JEE Main rank. The admission are based on JEE Main ranks.
